We are pleased to welcome Andreas Bay Isager as the new Webmaster at the DDEA Secretariat.
As part of the DDEA Secretariat, Andreas will be responsible for maintaining and developing our website and supporting our digital communication. His work will include keeping our event pages updated, publishing news and activities, and helping ensure that information about DDEA’s grants, events and other opportunities is easy to find and access.
Alongside his work on the website, Andreas will support DDEA’s communication activities. This will include producing content for our social media channels and newsletters, as well as contributing to the development of communication materials such as flyers, posters and other visual content.
Andreas is a trained Multimedia Designer and is currently studying his top-up degree in Innovation at University College Lillebælt. He has previously worked at the Danish media company TV 2 and brings experience and skills in both digital communication and technology to DDEA.
“The position gives me a unique opportunity to combine my technical and communication skills and use them to create value for DDEA. I was also attracted by the opportunity to contribute to DDEA’s work within diabetes and endocrinology,” says Andreas.
For Andreas, a particular focus will be making sure that DDEA’s website works well for the people who use it and that our digital communication is relevant and accessible to its audience.
“What motivates me is making sure that the website runs smoothly and is as easy as possible to use, and that our digital communication is useful and relevant to the people we want to reach. My focus is always on understanding their needs. That is what makes the work meaningful to me.”
Andreas takes over the role from Diana Naros. We have greatly enjoyed working with Diana and would like to thank her for her contribution to DDEA.
