We are pleased to welcome Marie-Louise Tind Rasmussen as our new Education and Networking Coordinator at Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA).
Marie-Louise joins us with extensive experience from the education sector, where she has worked both as a teacher and later as Head of Programme at university college level. Throughout her career, collaboration, coordination and creating meaningful learning environments have been central themes.
The role at DDEA appealed to Marie-Louise because it combines several aspects of her previous experience.
“Education and networking coordination brings together the parts of my work that I enjoy the most, including coordination, collaboration and creating connections between people.”
She is particularly looking forward to the variety of the role and to supporting early-career researchers across the endocrine research community.
“I enjoy organising and helping young researchers, and I’m very much looking forward to collaborating with both colleagues and researchers through DDEA activities.”

In her daily work, Marie-Louise is motivated by being part of something that makes a difference.
“Variation and good colleagues are very important to me. I like being part of something that feels meaningful.”
Marie-Louise has already started with us, and last week she attended the R Course Intermediate, where participants had the opportunity to meet her in person.
We are delighted to welcome Marie-Louise to the team and look forward to the contributions she will bring to the endocrine research community.
