DDEA Grant Schemes and Calls for Applications

We offer grants to support talented early-career researchers and visiting researchers in diabetes, metabolism, and classical endocrinology. You can learn more about our grant schemes and application processes below, as well as our funding opportunity for education and networking activities.

PhD Scholarships, Postdoc Fellowships and Visiting Researcher Grants

In 2024, we have only one call for applications for PhD scholarships, postdoctoral fellowships, and visiting researcher grants. 

The DDEA Secretariat is on holiday in weeks 28-29 and will respond to any inquiries as soon as possible after this period.

Deadline is 11 September 2024.

Applications can be in any field of diabetes, metabolism, or endocrinology research, except for thematic grants (marked by *), which only cover classical endocrinology.

Grants for Education and Networking Activities

The next call for Funding for Education and Networking Activities will open on 12 August 2024 with a deadline on 22 September 2024. Decisions will be announced one month after the deadline.

Strategic Partnership Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024

Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) invites applications for three 50%-financed two-year Strategic Partnership Postdoctoral Fellowships of 600,000 DKK each (covering salary).
