At Folkemødet, DDEA hosted two public debates on how research-based health knowledge, healthcare communication, and digital solutions affect people’s lives beyond research and policy.

In Når graviditet bliver til risikostyring (When pregnancy becomes risk management), the panel discussed how advice and information during pregnancy can become a source of pressure, guilt, and fear, and how health knowledge can be communicated in a more balanced and supportive way.
In Sundhed på skærm: Nemmere for hvem? (Healthcare on screen: Easier for whom?), the conversation turned to digital healthcare, access, trust, and what may be gained or lost when the meeting between patient and healthcare professional takes place on a screen.
Both debates highlighted the importance of communicating health knowledge with nuance, responsibility, and attention to the people it is meant to support.
