We are happy to welcome our Administrative Student Assistant, Svajūnė Gurklytė, to the DDEA Secretariat.
In the role as Administrative Student Assistant, Svajūnė Gurklytė’s main task is to handle ad hoc administrative tasks related to the DDEA activities within education, networking, grants and communications.

The opportunity to contribute to an organisation dedicated to advancing world-class research for disease prevention and treatment is truly an honor”, says Svajūnė Gurklytė.
Svajūnė Gurklytė has previously held positions as Aerial Studio Manager and Brand Manager where she trained her skills within PR, digital marketing, design, web administration, and e-commerce. Svajūnė holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from University College of Northern Denmark and is currently studying for a master’s degree in IT Web Communication Design from the University of Southern Denmark.
