Posted on 13.05.2024

We are happy to welcome our new Administrative Student Assistant Sarah Boe Tidgen to our Secretariat.

In the role as Administrative Student Assistant, Sarah Boe Tidgen’s main purpose is to support DDEA’s education and networking activities. The role focuses greatly on future events hosted by DDEA and includes preparing and proof-reading abstract books, programmes and information sheets, as well at setting up participant evaluation surveys. Furthermore, Sarah will aid DDEA grant activities and other ad hoc tasks.

Sarah Boe Tidgen holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). Sarah has previously held positions as instructor, ambassador, and student assistant at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at SDU.

“While studying Biomedicine I found that some fields of science interested me more than others, these being neuroscience and the regulation of human hormones and metabolism. I was intrigued by the position at DDEA due to my fascination by endocrinology and was ecstatic to see a position where I could combine my scientific passion with my dedication for generating high quality outputs.”, says Sarah Boe Tidgen.

Welcome to the team!
