This Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster Conference will bring together global thought leaders across seven interconnected themes: statistical & population genomics, gene regulation, functional genomics & technology development, AI/ML & computational modeling, disease mechanisms & models, therapeutics & translation, and somatic mosaicism & disease.

By connecting discoveries across these disciplines—from inherited and somatic genetic variation and gene regulation to large-scale perturbational biology, predictive AI models, and therapeutic development—we aim to explore how the field can build and validate increasingly quantitative and predictive models of human disease across the lifespan and use these models to accelerate translational discoveries and the development of therapeutics. Together, these advances will transform our ability to interpret genetic variation, uncover disease mechanisms, identify therapeutic targets, and ultimately enable preventive strategies, genomic medicine, and rationally designed treatments.

Participation and selection:

The conference is limited to 180 selected attendees to ensure meaningful interactions and lively scientific exchange. Participants are selected by the Scientific Committee. If accepted, participation (excluding travel) is covered by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and all participants are expected to present a poster and take part for the full conference duration.
