DANWISE is inviting everyone interested in developing strategies to bridge the gender gap to join their series, DANWISE Conversations. The series foster communities of women and men across Denmark to meet locally, in person, to attend a virtual event focused on key topics that raise awareness about gender inequality in the workplace and then share in person their thoughts. The goal is to start a nationwide conversation about these topics, sparked by national and international speakers that are expert in gender issues.
The first speaker in this series of DANWISE Conversations is Londa Schiebinger, The John L. Hinds Professor of History of Science at Stanford University and Founding Director of the “Gendered Innovations in Science, Health, Medicine, Engineering, and Environment” project. Londa will speak about Gendered Innovations, a strategy that harnesses the creative power of sex and gender analysis for innovation and discovery.
