Addison’s Disease – Pump Treatment, Morbidity, and Psychosocial aspects

This seminar delves into Addison’s Disease including the latest research about pump therapy with Solu-Cortef as well as long term morbidity and mortality. New knowledge about scientific and lived experience of quality of life and psychosocial aspects of living with the disease will be presented and discussed. Focus will be directed at optimal treatment and support for patients with Addison’s disease and patients with secondary glucocorticoid deficiency will be discussed.

This seminar focusses on new modes of therapy for patients with glucocorticoid deficiency, including Addison’s disease. Hear about the use of pump-delivered Solu-Cortef, which may make it possible for you to improve treatment of your patients with Addison’s Disease.

How is quality of life among patients with Addison’s disease? Learn more about how to manage the treatment and how to support your patients. Morbidity and mortality are increased among patients with Addison’s Disease – how can the latest science in this area, contribute to improved care for your patients?

How is the adrenal function among patients after prednisolone cessation and how does this affect their quality of life? Learn about the latest scientific research and learn about the lived experiences of people with these diseases.

This seminar is intended for researchers/clinicians / other health care professionals working within any field of Endocrinology, including both clinical, basic and translational research/work and for people involved in the Addison Association.

The participants are selected on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the seminar if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or in the life science industry, but a number of seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or in the life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, the DDEA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.
