DDEA Alumni Network

For You and Your Fellow DDEA Grant Recipients

When you receive a grant from us, you are part of a group of researchers who have a lot in common. You all research within the fields of diabetes, metabolism, and classical endocrinology, you are dedicated, and you strive to achieve your goals.

The DDEA Alumni Network is a network for you and your fellow DDEA grant recipients - both previous and current.

As a grant recipient, you are a valuable DDEA ambassador, and we wish to keep in touch with you. Our vision is to promote world-class research to improve the prevention and treatment of diabetes and classical endocrine diseases, and we are always eager to know how our efforts pan out in the careers of our alumni.

In the network, you can learn from each other's experiences, develop your professional lives, and inspire current and future DDEA researchers in their careers.

By joining the DDEA Alumni Network you will also gain access to networking meetings and professional events hosted by DDEA.

Bottom-up approach

We are taking a bottom-up approach with the DDEA Alumni Network. That means we want you to tell us what you would like to gain from and give to the network, as we did at the DDEA Alumni kick-off event in 2020. We listen, and we encourage you to keep the feedback and ideas coming.
