Workshop on Research Methods – Young Neuroscientists Network (YNN)

Posted on 10.04.2025

You’re invited to join the Young Neuroscientists Network for their Workshop on Research Methods!

This workshop is ideal for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of emerging research techniques, engaging in interdisciplinary science, and networking with other research groups.

The aim is to establish new network and collaboration opportunities by highlighting research methods that have utility at every level of research and across various disciplines. The speakers are themselves early-stage researchers, and the theme of the day will therefore be peer-to-peer discussions.

Presentations will be held on:

  • Imaging Techniques
  • Flow Cytometry
  • Single-cell Sequencing
  • Biophysical characterisation

Target Audience

Early-career researchers, including:

  • Postdoctoral fellows
  • Master’s students
  • Research assistants
  • PhD candidates

The course is general but organised by the Young Neuroscientists Network. While the primary focus is on diabetic, metabolic, and neuro-hormonal research, it is not exclusively limited to these areas.
