The European Islet Study Group (EISG) is an annual conference dedicated to islet biology in diabetes research. Since 1991, EISG has brought together leading European and international islet researchers to foster collaboration and innovation in the field.
The objective of EISG is to facilitate the exchange and development of ideas that might push forward groundbreaking research related to:
This year’s program will also feature a debate on: “Are alpha cells and glucagon needed for islet function and glucose homoeostasis?”.
