Call for Applicants to the BRIDGE Programme 2025

Are you interested in translational research? The BRIDGE Team from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen are seeking 14 highly motivated and dynamic postdoc fellows to commence the BRIDGE – Translational Excellence Programme on 1 September 2025. Fellows will be appointed for a period of two years. BRIDGE expects to appoint 7 fellows with an MD background and 7 fellows with an MSc background. Read the Call for Applications notice.

The BRIDGE – Translational Excellence Programme aims to educate and encourage translational scientists (postdocs) to drive translational research from basic discoveries at universities to clinical medicine at hospitals and in the life science industry, and vice versa. By doing so, the overall goal is to facilitate strengthened collaboration between all three sectors, i.e. healthcare, academia and the life science industry, and thus enhance the mobility of talented researchers to conduct excellent translational research within all the sectors.

Why become a BRIDGE fellow?

How to Apply

As a BRIDGE fellow, you will be working on a translational research project co-designed with a Mentor Team.

  1. Create a mentor team and email BRIDGE to make sure your mentor team will be approved
  2. Read about the academic curriculum
  3. Create application and budget using our templates
  4. Submit the 3-part application through UCPHs job portal HR Manager
