The purpose of this webinar series is to provide early-career researchers – specifically PhD students in the final stages of studies and postdoctoral researchers – with specific knowledge about career opportunities in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry for which their research background qualifies them. The webinars will cover a broad range of possibilities, highlighting the diversity of opportunities available and enabling participants to connect with specific examples. Participants will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and gain new insights and ideas on how to manage their future career paths.  

There will be time for questions and answers after each talk. You can sign up for individual webinars. You do not need to attend them all.

Registration deadline: You can register for each webinar until 11:00 on the day of the webinar.

Registered participants will receive a Zoom link that is valid for the entire webinar series. The link will be sent the day before each webinar. If you register on the day of a webinar, you will receive the Zoom link approximately one hour before the session begins.

 Biosketches of speakers:

• Shivani Joshi, Ph.D., is a venture builder and innovation professional focused on translating breakthrough science into scalable healthcare ventures. Her work spans biotechnology, diagnostics, translational science, and early-stage company building, with experience across strategy, commercialization, fundraising, and ecosystem development. She works closely with founders, researchers, and investors to advance science-driven technologies toward clinical and commercial readiness. Shivani is Portfolio Strategy and Development Lead for the Bio Studio Program at BioInnovation Institute and is active within the Nordic life science ecosystem. She is particularly interested in board and governance work supporting science-driven companies through growth and strategic decision-making. She earned her Ph.D. in Genetic Medicine from Aarhus University, with interests in precision medicine and frontier healthcare technologies.
• Martin Bonde Jensen is CTO at Ossiform and have more than 10 years of experience in additive manufacturing of medical devices, focusing on medical 3D printing of biointegrative bone implants and substitutes. At Ossiform, Martin has led the establishment of the company’s ISO 13485–certified manufacturing setup, enabling the validated production of more than 1,000 Ossiform Bone Substitutes. His responsibilities span research and process development, production validation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring robust translation to clinical-grade manufacturing. He has played a central role in validating Ossiform’s product portfolio through preclinical research, securing global IP rights, scaling the R&D and production organization as well as securing continuous alignment with clinical and quality requirements. As CTO and member of the board of directors, Martin is deeply involved in all strategic decisions of Ossiform, paving the direction for the future of bone healing.
• Andreas Buch Møller is Senior Specialist in the Science department at Arla’s Innovation Centre in Denmark, where he is responsible for scientific partnerships and collaborations. His role is to facilitate education and research activities with university partners to accelerate Arla’s science strategy. A main aspect of this is to promote research that aims to understand health effects of dairy and dairy ingredients and to guide innovation from a nutrition and health perspective. He joined the company in 2020 after almost ten years of research training within basal and clinical metabolism at research institutions in Denmark and USA. In recent years he has been a strong advocate for bringing Food and Health Sciences together in an attempt to better understand how dietary strategies can be used to prevent and manage cardiometabolic disease. Recently he also took up the role ad Head of Arla Food for Health, a public-private research partnership between Arla Foods Amba, Arla Food Ingredients, University of Copenhagen, and Aarhus University.   
• Christopher Lewis is a senior postdoctoral research within the Department for Biomedical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen working with Associate Professor Julien Ochala. His scientific field of interest is the metabolism of the sarcomere in both cardiac and skeletal muscle. Prior to this position Christopher spent three years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen, he was then awarded two postdoctoral fellowship awards, moving his work to Novo Nordisk A/S within the department of skeletal muscle and insulin sensitivity. Christopher obtained his PhD in cardiovascular medicine, focusing on novel drug discovery for aortic valve disease, within the Aberdeen Cardiovascular and Diabetes Centre at the University of Aberdeen. 
• Louise S. Dalbøge serves as Chief Science Officer at Gubra A/S, bringing more than 15 years of experience in early-stage target identification, translational pharmacology, and drug discovery for metabolic diseases. She holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy and a PhD in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from the University of Copenhagen.
  As CSO, Louise sets the scientific direction for Gubra’s drug discovery activities and drives the discovery of innovative peptide-based therapeutics for areas of high unmet medical need. She is passionate about advancing novel treatments by combining deep disease biology, translational insight, and emerging technologies. With a strategic and business-oriented mindset, she focuses on strengthening Gubra’s scientific capabilities and accelerating discovery through new technologies, with a particular emphasis on ML/AI-driven peptide drug discovery.
