Symposium on Clinical Metabolic Physiology 2025

Symposium on Clinical Metabolic Physiology 2025

At the symposium on Clinical Metabolic Physiology, we welcome researchers for a day that
aims at exchanging knowledge, ideas and networking opportunities between the
participants. During the day, we will facilitate new ideas by sharing, promoting and
discussing (new as well as old) technology and methodology in the field of clinical metabolic
physiology.

Join us for an inspiring meeting!

The Symposium on Clinical Metabolic Physiology 2025 is the sixth time that we will gather
researchers to exchange knowledge and share ideas about methodological challenges in
clinical metabolic physiology. The symposium focuses on the physiology and
pathophysiology of obesity, type 1 and 2 diabetes and other metabolic and endocrine
disorders.

The programme will focus on new and older investigative models, technologies and
methodologies that raise relevant issues for discussion.

The meeting will also include networking and interactive group work where you get a
chance to discuss methods and come up with solutions to different challenges.

We hope that all participants will take an active part in discussing challenges and solutions
and that the meeting will inspire new projects and facilitate new collaborations between
national and international research groups both in academia and in the life science industry
in the future.

The symposium is open to all translational and clinical researchers with an interest in clinical metabolic physiology, including the physiology and pathophysiology of obesity, type 1 and 2 diabetes and other metabolic and endocrine disorders. Researchers at all career stages are welcome – from master´s students and research assistants to PhD fellows, postdocs and professors – regardless of scientific background or affiliation (academia, clinic, industry etc.).

The participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the symposium if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or in the life science industry, but a number of seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or in the life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, the DDEA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.
