Across the Spectrum of Thyroid Autoimmunity

Across the Spectrum of Thyroid Autoimmunity

Join us for this 1,5 day symposium which focuses on thyroid autoimmunity from a basic science, laboratory, and clinical perspective. Autoimmune thyroid disease is among the most common chronic disorders affecting patients worldwide. Up-to-date knowledge on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment is important as part of disease prevention and patient management. This symposium bridges the gap between basic researchers and clinicians to inspire new knowledge, networking, and future collaboration.

At this symposium, you will come across the spectrum of thyroid autoimmunity and obtain up-to-date knowledge from a basic science, laboratory, and clinical perspective. You will gain expert knowledge on thyroid autoimmunity in sessions dedicated to:

  • Hypothyroidism
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Omics and the thyroid
  • Thyroid autoantibodies

The symposium will support presentations of the most recent knowledge and research by national and international experts in the field and will facilitate plenum discussions on clinical and methodological aspects of thyroid autoimmunity.

The symposium also aims to strengthen network and collaboration through scientific networking sessions on both days and an interdisciplinary research focus among participants.
