The Start-up Meeting for New DDEA Grant Recipients provides the participants with greater knowledge about DDEA and how DDEA supports them through its education, networking and communication activities. The meeting also gives the participants the opportunity to connect with other DDEA-funded researchers, learning about their research projects and interests. In addition, the participants will immerse themselves in a specially planned, creative communication workshop.

After the event you will be able to:

• Recognize how DDEA will support you by offering the best possible education and networking activities
• Demonstrate what DDEA expects from you as a DDEA-funded researcher
• Apply elements of drawing in your communication

Participation in this meeting is limited to the persons who have been awarded a PhD scholarship or a postdoctoral fellowship from DDEA in 2023. 

Participants are asked to bring a poster (A1 size preferred) to present their research project background and aims and to be used as a discussion point with the other participants. Detailed information is provided in correspondence with the DDEA Secretariat.
