The aim of the event is to give young researchers in Denmark an overview of the multiple possibilities of using high performance computing across Denmark. We also aim to give you insights in current research projects that use different kinds of computer power, to inspire you to include similar power in your current or upcoming research projects.

We will guide you through “the jungle” of high-performance computing – from the supercomputer “Gefion” to the gaming pc, and the field between the two. This guidance will include concrete examples of the use of different levels of high-performance computing in Denmark.

In addition, we will enlighten you on what it demands from your datasets to gain from high performance computing.

During the event there will be time to discuss with experts and researchers with experience in using computer power, and after a project dating-session we invite you to a networking dinner to round off the event.
