Dan Csontos, Director of Elevate Scientific and Elevate Scientific Academy
Dan has over 25 years’ experience as a researcher, reviewer, and editor. He held editorial positions at Nature and Nature Physics, and was a freelance editor for Nature Communications. In his editorial roles, he was responsible for the editorial decisions on hundreds of research papers and handling the iterative peer review process. He also served as a reviewer for several journals during his postdoctoral years. In his current role at Elevate Scientific, he helps researchers develop and publish high-quality papers that make an impact. He holds a PhD in physics from Lund University.
This course is intended for early-career researchers at the junior PI, postdoctoral and advanced PhD student stages, working within any field of endocrinology and metabolism, including clinical, basic and translational work and/or interdisciplinary research connected to related fields.
The course participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat in the course if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or life science industry, but some seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, DDEA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.
DDEA organises a networking dinner after the course on 10 October 2024. Participation in the dinner is free of charge. Please sign up for the dinner upon registration, and indicate whether you have any dietary requirements.
DDEA does not offer accommodation for this 1-day course.
A course certificate will be sent to participants upon request at the end of the course. Full participation is required to attain ECTS points.
