Irene Nagel, PhD

Yael Nevo-Caspi, PhD

Yael Nevo-Caspi joined hfp consulting in 2022 as a trainer. She has a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Tel-Aviv University, Israel. Yael established and directed the research lab within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Sheba Medical Center for ten years. Two years ago, Yael was appointed as the director of the BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) facility core at the hospital. Yael has extensive expertise in supervising scientific personnel and students as well as in grant writing and publishing scientific papers.

hfp consulting GmbH was founded in 2005 with the aim of improving the work and working environment of scientists. We believe in shaping the culture of science by training scientists to be effective, inclusive, and authentic leaders. hfp consulting has been delivering leadership courses globally and has developed successful and ongoing collaborations with scientific organizations all over the world. Our workshops are delivered by an international team of trainers, the majority of whom are scientists themselves. As we believe in a highly interactive learning environment, our trainers act as navigators through the learning process, whereby participants are expected to apply learned information for themselves and to develop their personal strategies, solutions and action plan.

This course is intended for postdoctoral researchers, working within any field of endocrinology and metabolism, including clinical, basic and translational work and/or interdisciplinary research connected to related fields. Postdocs at research organisations within Denmark and from abroad are welcome to apply.

The course participants will be selected by application with a motivation statement.

To ensure that the group of participants works well together, all participants are required to start together at 9:00 on the first day of the course and to attend all days and sessions of the course. Please make note of this commitment upon applying for the course.

Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat in the course if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or life science industry, but some seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, DDEA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.

Dinner registration

DDEA organises networking dinners after the course day on 1 and 2 December 2026. Participation in the dinners is free of charge. Please sign up for the dinners upon registration, and indicate whether you have any dietary requirements.

Accommodation

DDEA offers accommodation for participants from outside of the Aarhus metropolitan area. Check-in on 30 November and check-out on 3 December.

You will be informed about your overnight accommodation by DDEA after the registration deadline.

Certification

A course certificate will be sent to participants upon request at the end of the course.
