Over the course of two days you will hear lectures from renowned national and international speakers and participate in hands-on case-work. You will work in groups on several relevant cases and share your knowledge with each other through peer-to-peer learning exercises guided by experts.

This course is intended for junior and/or specialist clinicians with an interest in neuroendocrine neoplasms as well as medical professionals or researchers interested in gaining an introduction to NEN and learning about the most up-to-date approaches in the management and research of these neoplasms.
The course will be interdisciplinary, and therefore appropriate for medical professionals or researchers within the fields of surgery, gastroenterology, endocrinology, oncology, pathology, clinical genetics, and nuclear medicine.
The participants are selected on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the course if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to participants employed at Danish research and health institutions or in the life science industry, but a number of seats are reserved for participants employed at research and health institutions or in the life science industry abroad. If the event is overbooked, the DDEA reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements.
Dinner registration
DDEA organises a networking dinner on 1 October. Participation in the dinner is free of charge. Please sign up for the dinner upon registration, and indicate whether you have any dietary requirements.
Accommodation
DDEA offers one night accommodation for participants living outside the Copenhagen area (check-in on 1 October, check-out on 2 October). Please sign up for accommodation when you register for the event. You will be informed about your overnight accommodation by DDEA after the registration deadline.
Certificate of Attendance
A course certificate of attendance and participation can be issued upon request at the end of the course. Full participation in the course is required to receive the certificate. Apply to your PhD school with the certificate and course programme.
Latest cancellation date & no-show fee
Please note that it is free of charge to participate in the event, however DDEA will charge a no-show fee of 1000 DKK if you do not show up and have not unregistered from the event by 24 September 2024, except in the case of illness or emergencies.
