“First of all, I would like to thank DDA supported by Novo Nordisk Foundation to support my research with a PhD scholarship. DDA creates a wonderful platform for scientists at all levels to communicate and establish collaboration within different diabetes/metabolism research areas.

The PhD program including the PhD courses offered by DDA are on very high level, and stimulate to gain a broader understanding of diabetes, which strengthen the education of next generation scientists. Additionally, all the scientific meetings including webinars are all good initiatives from DDA. DDA encourages and supports upcoming scientists by offering travel grants to conferences to present data and exchange visits to learn different scientific techniques. Thus, DDA is very focused on education and to strengthen Denmark´s position in diabetes research.”
