22.09.22

As the days grow shorter, we come closer and closer to beginning anew as the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) in 2023.

When we relaunch as DDEA, our finest job will be to continue ensuring the highest possible quality of education, networking, and grant activities – but with a scope widened to encompass the whole field of endocrinology. Seeing as co-operation is vital for this process, we have established connections to Danish endocrine societies and departments – and we plan to create more collaborations along the way. Read more about the DDEA and our collaborators.

DDEA will be headed by a Board of Directors (BoD) of seven members with a well-balanced and broad representation of different stakeholders. The BoD includes representation from early-career researchers, senior researchers, and clinicians, as well as universities, hospitals, and life science industry across diabetes and other endocrinology fields. Read more about the new BoD.

We look forward to uniting and strengthening the research communities of diabetes and endocrinology, as well as keep nurturing the talents of the future voices of research.

All the best,

Tore Christiansen
Managing Director
