Newsletter May 2022

Our Annual Report for 2021 is out, and despite some obvious challenges with Covid-19, it was overall a good year at the DDA. In addition to figures and tables, the report features cases and stories from some of our grant recipients, organisers, participants, and more. Read the report here.
At the end of March, we held our first joint event with the Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) – the Data Science Spring School. We talked to the organisers and two participants about the experience. Read the article here.
From 3-7 June, the Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) will take place in New Orleans. The DDA will be present at the conference, and we will host a networking dinner on June 4. Participation is free of charge, and there are about 25 seats available. We hope to see some of you there. Sign up for the networking dinner here.
Remember to contact us with news about publications, awards, presentations etc. if you are a currently or formerly funded by the DDA. We would love to help communicate your research stories via articles and social media.
As always, I encourage you to stay updated about our upcoming events on our website.
All the best,
Tore Christiansen
Managing Director
