Thirteen young national and international talented researchers and four established senior researchers from abroad have just been selected by the DDA international review panel to receive a DDA grant. I am also happy to announce a new call for PhD scholarships, postdoc fellowships and visiting professorships. Some of the scholarships and fellowships are intended for collaboration with the life sciences industry, and I hope they will be attractive to apply for.
 
One thing is to present research to a colleague another thing is to present it to the public. It is not always an easy task, but yet extremely important. The good news is that in a new collaboration with the Danish Diabetes Association we will give 16 young researchers the opportunity to obtain skills within this kind of communications.
 
Still, our trademark is that all of our activities - both online and physical meetings – are of course open to all interested in diabetes research, so please keep updated at our website as new activities will be announced on a regular basis.
