With a nice sunburned complexion….the DDA Executive Management Team is now back from summer holidays. As mentioned in our last newsletter, the DDA will from the end of August and onwards offer a range of educational and networking events with physical presence. Some classical events, such as the DDA PhD Summer School, the PhD Course on Basal Metabolism and the DDA Annual Day, and some new activities on the reproducibility challenges in research, clinical metabolic physiology, the human placenta in diabetes and obesity, and many more. The list is long and and will hopefully inspire you. Everybody with an interest in diabetes research is welcome to sign up.

Please also be aware of the deadline for our calls for applications for PhD scholarships, postdoc fellowships and visiting professorships (including industrial scholarships and fellowships) on 20 August 2020.
