We recently held our first board meeting of the year, discussing both past and future activities, as well as the exciting opportunity of developing into a Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) 2023-2027. We have just sent our final application to the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and we await the decision with great excitement.
 
It is no big secret that we are quite proud of our podcasts. With the first series released, we now set our sights on a second series. In this regard, we have issued a call for participants, looking for the next generation of leaders in science to come talk about their work and how it can or does connect to society.
 
This week, we had our first joint meeting with the other Novo Nordisk Foundation funded academies, Danish Cardiovascular Academy (DCA) and the Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA), where we shared knowledge and ideas.
