I am pleased to see that the Danish Muscle Metabolism Network is alive and kicking. It has been four years since the first workshop in this network was held and now they are back and inviting all researchers with an interest in muscle metabolism to join. A great opportunity for early-career researchers across research disciplines!

We are still in a transition period in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore we will invest energy in organising hybrid meetings where it will be possible to choose between onsite and online attendance. Upcoming hybrid meetings are the workshop on diabetes and cancer in May and the symposium on treatment of diabetes, obesity and assessment of end organ damage in June.  
 
As always, I encourage you to browse through our educational and networking programme on a regular basis – we expect some of the current and future activities to be fully booked very quickly. The programme is listed on our website.
