The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) invites applications for grants for education and networking events in diabetes, metabolism and classical endocrinology research fields to be held during 2025.

With a mission to foster early-career research talent through education and talent development, networking and collaboration, and grants, DDEA offers funding for activities and courses organised independently of DDEA and complementary to the education and networking activities planned and offered by DDEA in 2025.
Two (2) grants, each with a maximum DKK 50,000, can be awarded:

The maximum funding from DDEA for an event through this call is 50.000 DKK. The total budget available for events funded through this call is 100.000 DKK.
Please note that we will not fund the following activities through this call for applications
Decisions will be made by 21 October 2024.
For events funded through this call DDEA will not provide any logistical or organisational support. However, DDEA will promote the event through one or more of our communications channels (news on website, social media, newsletter, etc.).
To obtain funding from DDEA for an education or networking event, the following prerequisites must be met:
The funding granted by DDEA may be used to cover all or part of the following expenses related to the event:

The application must be submitted online via DDEA’s grant website and must include the following (max. 3 pages):
The DDEA Secretariat and the Chair of the DDEA Committee for Education will process and review all applications received by the deadline.
Applications will be assessed on the conditions stated above and prioritised according to budget and topics that complement the 2025 events programme (available soon on the DDEA website)
Applicants will receive a decision from the DDEA Secretariat within 1 month of the application deadline.
DDEA reserves the right to reject an application due to administrative reasons or prioritisation.
