A Cross Academy Career Event
Curious about a career in life science but unsure of your possibilities? Join the three academies (Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy, Danish Cardiovascular Academy and Neuroscience Academy Denmark) on Nov 21 2024 from 10.00 – 14.00, as we prepare you for the annual Synapse career fair. Through two parallel workshops, we will focus in on key skills for your career development, after which participants will gather to gain insight into a range of different career paths within life science with ample opportunity for questions. You will then have the opportunity to directly apply these learnings at the Synapse career fair in the afternoon.

10:00 – 11.30: Workshop A – Networking – learn about the most important aspects of networking and how to do so intentionally
10:00 – 11.30: Workshop B – Job interviews in Denmark – learn more about the process of interviewing for non-academia jobs
11:30 – 12.00: Lunch and networking
12:00 – 14.00: Career paths panel – learn about the many possible career paths of someone with a life science background
