How to Navigate the Industry Recruitment Process
Are you considering transitioning from an academic path to a career in industry? Then this is the perfect after-work networking and career event for you. You will hear from a recruiter on how they conduct interviews and what they look for in a candidate – hint, it’s more than technical expertise. You will also hear from DDA alumni who made the transition themselves on how they navigated the process of entering industry.
The event is a hybrid meeting, meaning that some participants will be physical present on location in Copenhagen and some will attend the meeting online from their homes.

Who Can Attend?
Members of the DDA Alumni Network have priority. But all interested researchers and clinicians working within any field of diabetes can sign up and will be given a seat if available.
Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the event if you do not meet the target group requirements. If the event is overbooked, the DDA reserves the right to select participants based on the defined requirements and country of employment.
Participants are selected on a first come, first served basis.

Accommodation
DDA will organise accommodation free of charge for participants coming from outside of Copenhagen. Please state when you register if you need accommodation.
No-show fee
The event is free of charge, however, there is a no-show fee of 250 DKK if you do not show up and have not unregistered prior to its start.
