DETAILED DESCRIPTION

What is it like to be a pregnant woman in rural Tanzania without access to healthcare? And, why is a Danish diabetes researcher so interested?

What happens after screening children for medical, psychological and behavioural problems? And, why is an international researcher in Denmark so committed to healthcare for the Danish people?

Join us for an hour of storytelling - two researchers tell tales from the real world as you have never heard them before. These two stories from diabetes researchers will pull at your heart strings and open your mind to health and science in the global society.

This event is part of the Postdocs Talking podcast from the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy. Postdocs Talking takes the show on the road with its first community event at the People’s Meeting. The public is invited to engage with two early career researchers and their stories about human health. Get to know the people behind the science. This event will be recorded and edited for podcast production.
