Join us and explore the emerging field of regenerative medicine in basic and clinical research through an introductory two-day course.
This course (in November 2024) is the first of two independent modules exploring the emerging field of regenerative medicine in both basic and clinical research. With a focus on the cardiovascular, diabetes and endocrine areas, this first module will give you knowledge about different regenerative animal models such as axolotl, salamander and zebrafish, as well as stem cells and stem cell treatment. Through a combination of lectures and exercises you will enhance both your knowledge and skills.
The course combines lectures from leading experts, hands-on laboratory sessions, and interactive workshops to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Participants will engage in collaborative projects, fostering a deeper understanding of how regenerative medicine can be applied to cardiovascular and endocrine health. Both academic and industry perspectives will be brought to light.
The second module (April 2025) will focus on clinical perspectives and organ specific stem cell treatment.
The course is a collaborative effort between the Danish Cardiovascular Academy and the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy.
PhD-students and postdoctoral fellows.
